David Oro
Principal

A global communications executive, David Oro  focuses on critical communications, media relations and corporate communications for high-growth hardware, software and enterprise technology companies. Past and current experience includes acting as the in-house PR manager for Cisco’s Security business, EMC’s Data Computing Division (now Dell Technologies) and as the Global Head of Public Relations for Micron Technologies. His client experience includes Docker, IronPort Systems (acquired by Cisco), Greenplum (acquired by EMC), Brocade, SK Telecom, MapR, and numerous start-ups. He was most recently the head of communications at Pivotal Software, a billion dollar spin-out of EMC and VMware with ~1700 employees. He has lived and worked in the United States, Hong Kong, and Beijing.

 

Victoria Brown

Victoria Brown is a communications and public relations expert, providing services to technology, consumer and non-profit organizations. She’s spent the past two decades launching, positioning, promoting and protecting global brands, and enabling companies to accelerate their success in the market. Victoria offers organizations executive experience in Fortune 500s, start-ups, global agencies and venture capital firms.

Victoria employs an integrated communications approach, considering all communications vehicles and platforms best suited to achieve desired outcomes. She’s a problem solver delivering strategic programs and campaigns that directly align with business goals while maximizing assets and resources. Businesses she has helped over the course of her career include Adobe, Palo Alto Networks, Cambia Health Solutions, Cognizant, Francisco Partners, Micron, Oracle, Samsung, Sears, Symantec, Trident Capital and Verifone, among others.

Ellen Arbeznik

Ellen Arbeznik specializes corporate storyline development, media outreach, product launches and announcements, executive media tours, and strategy and execution of integrated marketing campaigns. Ellen was an account supervisor at The OutCast Agency for nearly 12 years, where she helped guide communications strategy for a wide variety of clients, including Amazon Web Services, American Express, EMC, GitHub, Pivotal, RSA Security, and VMware.

When not at her computer, Ellen enjoys teaching and practicing yoga, cooking, renovating her house, watching foreign films, binge-reading crime thrillers, and teaching her two young children Russian.  Ellen received a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management with a focus in Entrepreneurship and Marketing from Babson College in Wellesley, MA.

Laurence Cruz

Laurence brings more than 20 years of experience in content, including several years as a reporter with The Associated Press in Seattle and as an environmental reporter in Oregon. A U.K. transplant who also has roots in Latin America, he moved to Los Angeles in 2005, drawn by the city’s creative community. He has written several screenplays and spent the pandemic writing his first novel. He brings these storytelling muscles to film, tech and business PR writing. His work has ranged from the large (Cisco, Intuit, Waggener Edstrom) to small agencies and startups.  He’s also a video field producer, avid mountain biker and painter of banana-leaf murals. He lives with his wife, Patty, and their two cats, Tomo and Quinn, and has a B.A. in English from Oxford and an M.A. in Communications from Washington State University.
